Tournament Director is tournament management software that is designed to replace the DMK Excel Spreadsheet developed by the Des Moines Kubb Club and supported by Kubb United. Developed as a desktop application for both Windows and Mac OSX, Tournament Director is designed to expand upon the DMK spreadsheet and represents a step forward from the limitations that exist in Microsoft Excel.
Tournament Director can be used to run many different types of events beyond Kubb. Any table game such as pool or ping pong, board sports such as Cornhole, board games like chess or scrabble can all managed via Tournament Director's easily configurable interface. As long as you have enough pitches, fields, courts, tables or boards to accommodate the number teams that have registered for your event Tournament Director is the event management tool that you're looking for!

Tournament Director Features:

• Qualificaton round time limits
• Bracket round time limits
• Qualification/Bracket match length in games (up to 5 games)
• Random pitch assignment for qualification rounds
• Separate output screen for match results for display on a secondary monitor
• Easily copy previous events
• Import teams from previous events or old DMK spreadsheets
• Easily adjust results from completed rounds that were reported incorrectly
• Include your tournment logo for a custom look/feel
• Change application theme colors to suit your preferences
• Define as many events as you wish! All of your events year after year now live in the same application!
• Alerts you if updated software versions are available so you'll always have the latest version

Download Tournament Director

Click the appropriate link below for your operating system.

For Microsoft Windows, a full installer will be downloaded. Run the installer to fully install Tournament Director on your system.

For MAC OSX, only 64 bit operating systems are supported. The Tournament Director disk image (DMG) file will be downloaded. Open the DMG file and drag Tournament Director to the Applications Folder to install.

Support the Tournament Director Project

As of March 2023 (version 3.0.0), Tournament Director is no longer free of charge. Tournament Director pricing is as follows:

• $50 USD per event
• $125 USD for an unlimited yearly subscription (unlimited events or leagues)

Tournament Director 3.X.X has the following limitations until either an event or subscription license is purchased:

• Events/Leagues are limited to 3 qualification rounds
• Events/Leagues are limited to 8 teams
• Events/Leagues are limited to one 8 team bracket
• Live syncing of event results to keystonekubb.com is disabled
• No event restarts

Once an event or subscription license is purchased Tournament Director is fully functional for the event purchased or for the duration of the subscription license (1 year).

All previous versions (2.x.x) will no longer be supported by Keystone Kubb or Ridgview Software, LLC.
All proceeds from Tournament Director go towards covering our costs and supporting the software and our users as well as the development of new features.
